Road Trippin With My Two Favorite Allies, Rollin' Rollin', We'll Have Snacks and Supplies (RHCP)

"Road trippin' with my two favorite allies
Fully loaded we got snacks and supplies
It's time to leave this town
It's time to steal away
Let's go get lost
Anywhere in the USA"

We went on a road trip with some family last week. It was quite comfortable in our newish van. :)

In this one you can see Mom, but not Dad. Tristan was watching Wall-E.
Now you see Dad, but not Mom. And the hidden people got labeled.
Oh, there's the baby.
There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep in one place for a change. (The empty spot is Mom's).
Tristan brought a library book to read.
However, his new book, Lego City Reader's Collection, was much more enthralling.
"It's my favorite book in the world, Mom."
Yet he was still able to pause long enough to help Uncle Thomas open a present.
Grandma was there to help Dorian open his present.
And Tristan is always interested in what Dorian gets.
Oh fun! Cars and trucks!
Dorian learns quickly from big brother the fun of helping others open presents.
Hey that's mine!
Now, Dorian has a new favorite book too.
Aunt Randee can sing it to me anytime.
And so can Grandpa!

Email Address

There's a new feature to my blog. If you type in your email address above, it will supposedly send you an email notification every time I post something to the blog. That would be convenient if it works. Some one should try it and let me know if it does work. :)

Oh Yeah? What Did Your Dad Bring YOU?

Daddy went away for a technical festival of sorts... an array of seminars focusing on the technical field. When he came home the next day, he didn't think he brought home anything fun for his boys... but boys are boys and they come to watch Daddy unpack, just in case. Their eyes got bright as they saw the free T-shirts he'd obtained for himself. Before he could comment, they were running off wearing them! Then he said, "And I didn't think I'd gotten them anything".

Apparently, while Daddy was away, Tristan and Dorian were having a stuffed animal festival in the living room.

Awww, thanks Dad. You're the best!

Dorian's actions say, "No! Don't take it off yet, I'm having fun! I will run away from you!"

Cowboy Tristan and Kitty-Cat Dorian

While Daddy was cleaning out the shed, Tristan found a rope. He quickly went in and got a hat and boots on. (This was a day that he didn't change out of his pajamas until almost dinner time. If he had his way, he'd never change out of them). The same day, Daddy found the kitty bed in the shed and decided to bring it back in the house. The kitty has not touched it, but Dorian thinks it's a perfect little lounge chair.
